Leeds Building Society claim that they will be sympathetic to those applying for bad credit mortgages.
The group have launched a new lending channel to help those who have poor financial histories obtain a mortgage loan.
A spokesperson for the company added the agreements were aimed at: "people who have had their credit ratings detrimentally affected as a result of divorce or separation".
