First Direct are now offering mortgage deals to new customers again after withdrawing their entire range due to overwhelming demand.
The group claimed that they simply didn't have the resources to cope with all of the business they were getting so had no choice but to cease offering their products.
Chris Pilling, Chief Executive for First Direct claims that his staff have processed a years worth of mortgage deals in the space of just a few months to clear the backlog.
