According to research from MoneyExtra, there are still excellent mortgage deals to be found and the key to getting them is using an impartial mortgage broker who can access the entire market.
With the base rate dropping significantly over the last six months, mortgages should have become far cheaper for everyone but many consumers have found deals harder to come by.
