With the UK property market struggling, some experts believe that remortgaging might hold the key to turning things around.
Figures from the British Bankers Association showed that remortgaging has significantly grown over the last month, which could spark lenders' appetites after a dry period.
Drew Wotherspoon from John Charcol commented, "For consumers we can only hope that this has given the banks appetitive to gather more market share in the form of competitive products."
