Legal Marketing Services (LMS) have released a statement in which they comment on the increasing number of people remortgaging their property in order to get hold of much needed finance.
The group reported that remortgaging in the final quarter of 2006 amounted to over £9.5 billion.
In earlier research before Christmas, Egg found that nearly ten million people were considering remortgaging over the subsequent three months because of the inevitable base rate increases.
