A new mortgage from Alliance and Leicester gives consumers the ability to make unlimited repayments on their loan without being charged for the privelage.
The deal, that combines a hundred per cent loan to value mortgage with a personal loan potentially gives far more flexibility to people who are thinking of buying their first home.
A spokesperson for the group commented: "When innovative products come onto the market, it's important they actually fill a gap and help those who need it most."
